Roadtrip 2022 Fall: Richland - Boise - Ely - Kanab - Sedona - Joshua Tree - Paso Robles - Calistoga - Brookings - Cannon Beach

Day 39 - Sedona to Joshua Tree

Our favourite rest stop in the entire West: "Dangerous snakes and insects inhabit the area". Makes for a good rest.

"The Friendliest"

Just past "The Friendliest" is Jurassic II - this is one of the docile ones.

No kidding.

Looks like these parcels have been on the market for a while. We're not sure even if the wizard George could move these ones.

Apparently they have everything you could possibly want for your vacation getaway.

The absolutely Terrible modern desert oasis.

Just for George. Fire sale. Or something.

Crossing the Mighty Colorado. Pretty soon, they won't need a bridge.

In Rice, derailments are just ignored.

This is Team Freedom's Mission to Mars. On Mars, they won't have to worry about Biden.

Highway 62 between Parker and 29 Palms is certifiably one of the loneliest roads in the US. We've driven this route numerous times, but never on Thanksgiving Sunday. This is a traffic jam. Really.

The skies are restless as we approach 29 Palms. They're not keen on all those Marines and their massive helicopters.

Cloud wings over Yucca Valley.

Our corner to turn up to our home for the week. A flock of black birds swirl over the intersection in in perfect synchronicity.
